Argyle Hot-doggers: l to r. Alex Williamson, Jordan Macrae, Cindy Cely Cardenas, Sarah Bogue, and Colby Woit The Marketing 11 class of Argyle Secondary School in North Vancouver adopted the Quinn Keast Foundation as its cause this spring in a project that challenged the students along the lines of the "Apprentice" TV series. Led by Ms Jeanine Almeida, the Business Education/Technology Co-ordinator, 5 teams participated in the Apprentice Challenge which utilized marketing techniques learned in class to advertise and sell real fruit popsicles, ice capps, hotdogs, frozen yogurt and fruit drinks. Using QKF "No Regrets" wristbands and their astonishing skills, the 5 teams, who had chosen the Foundation collectively as their charity of choice, raised $1,000. The main objective of the Challenge was to devise a product that could be sold in one lunch hour and the team that makes the most profit wins. Congratulations to the Hotdog Team (pictured here) and to the entire class and student body of Argyle. THANK YOU.
